Fees & Charges for State-Funded Apprenticeships and Traineeships:

$500 Up-front Student Administration Fee only (However upon successful completion of the full qualification there is a $300 completion bonus paid to all successful trainees. (Eligibility Criteria apply) Currently Skills Tasmania and Skills Canberra are both sponsoring students - both new and existing employees can qualify. Fee-for-service Rates for Out-of-state/International Apprenticeships:

  • $150 per unit to be paid prior to commencement of each unit – for fee-for-service (individual fee-paying participants)

  • $125 per unit to be paid prior to commencement of each unit – for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) 

Withdrawals and Refunds

Please note that if you withdraw or are withdrawn from your course after the JCE Positive Outcomes invoice due date, you will be liable for payment of the fees even if you have not attended classes or completed any work.

The Student Administration Fee may be refunded under the following circumstances.

  • If a participant withdraws from the study course due to extended illness supported by a medical certificate

  • If a participant has experienced extenuating circumstances (as per JCE Positive Outcomes policy) that prevents the student from continuing study with JCE Positive Outcomes

  • If negotiated with JCE Positive Outcomes on an individual basis and received approval
