Eligibility Criteria

Participants interested in obtaining their Certificate III in Information Technology through Skilled Capital subsidies must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand passport holder resident for more than six months.

  • A person who holds a visa that is identified as being eligible.

  • Living or working in the ACT.

  • At least 17 years of age.

  • Not enrolled in or attending a school or college, or another. program leading to the completion of year 12.

You will learn:

  • Communication - Learn how to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and customers.

  • Digital Skills - Build confidence using digital devices and workplace technologies to communicate and complete everyday tasks.

  • Time Management - Learn how to organise your workload, manage priorities and complete tasks on time.

  • Working with Others - Develop the skills and behaviours needed to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Problem Solving & Creativity - Develop your ability to think creatively, identify problems and find practical solutions.

  • Customer & Product Skills - Learn how to understand customer needs and provide information about products and services.

  • Sustainability - Understand how individuals can contribute to sustainable practices in the workplace.

  • Workplace Health & Safety - Learn how to contribute to a safe workplace and understand your responsibilities to yourself and others.

  • Personal Development - Build self-awareness and identify your strengths, skills and opportunities for further development.
